Success: Tidewater Youth Services

A 19-year-old female mother of two struggling with family, anger, and substance abuse issues was referred to Tidewater Youth Services. While working with TYS, she secured employment at a fast-food restaurant. She reduced her use of substances and is utilizing her natural resources for child care while working full time. She set goals to live independently and without assistance from anyone. She is saving money to live her dream of being on her own with her kids.

This young woman is doing great things to improve her and her children’s lives! The counselor still checks in with her even though services were completed over four months ago.
